Good job!

A step-by-step guide to play the game

1

Draw a line on the ground with chalk, and draw two equally big boxes next to it (see the image for the exact drawing). Make sure the feet of the players can fit into the boxes. If you play the activity indoors, you can mark the arena with tape.

2

Two players step into the box. Their team members line up behind them, each one holding the player in front of them. The set-up looks like a tug-of-war game without the rope.

3

The two players facing each other make a chain by putting their hands together. Now each team tries to pull the other team over the line towards their side. If the team succeeds in pulling the other team with their feet over the line, they get one point.

4

Repeat the game until a team has won 3 points!

You can play the game with as much players as you want. Make sure to have an equal number of players on both sides of the line. Also make sure you have some free space around to avoid any accidents from happening.

Super fun and simple game, where the players physically work together to win. Nice way to activate the players, but keep in mind that not everyone likes to let others into their personal space.

Very fun variation on the well-known tug-of-war game. Perfect if there is some time left within your activity or if you don't have any materials with you!
