3

Organise a competition.

4

The first player or team who completes the entire pattern wins the game.

Extra game information

The player must start searching for the first number of the multiplication (e.g. 3) in the table indicated by the arrow (vertical table). He then goes looking for the second number of the multiplication (e.g. 1) in the horizontal table. The two numbers (3 x 1) now must be combined to look for the result inside of the multiplication table. This can be done by following the row of number 3 (vertical table) until you reach of the row number 1 (horizontal table).

Variations

  • The players calculate the results of the multiplications without looking at the multiplication table to make the game more difficult.
  • See variations of panel MATHEMATICS R D1
