A step-by-step guide to play the game

Attach MATHEMATICS R E 1 next to MATHEMATICS 2 on the mobile school.

The player starts with the first series of exercises.

He speaks the exercises out load. For example: 3 x 1 = three times one.

After this, the player looks at the multiplication table and searches for the result of the multiplication (see Additional game info).

When found, he places a bottle cap on the result.

Continue until all exercises of the first series are solved. When done correctly, a pattern will start to appear.

Repeat with the second and third series of exercises.

Extra game information

The player must start searching for the first number of the multiplication (e.g. 3) in the table indicated by the arrow (vertical table). He then goes looking for the second number of the multiplication (e.g. 1) in the horizontal table. The two numbers (3 x 1) now must be combined to look for the result inside of the multiplication table. This can be done by following the row of number 3 (vertical table) until you reach of the row number 1 (horizontal table).

Variations

  • The player calculates the results of the multiplications without looking at the multiplication table to make the game more difficult.
