• Player pieces (one per team) to move along the board
• Picture and flag cards
• Timer or stopwatch to limit guessing time
• Optional: dice for movement, optional bonus cards (+2 moves, challenges, etc.)

Stap 1

Main Route Board (Train Around the World)

Base: Take a large piece of cardboard or poster board.

Draw the route: Create a continuous path of connected spaces winding around the board — each space represents a “stop” on your world trip.

Label the continents/countries: You can add optional labels like Europe, Africa, Asia, or landmarks.

Add special spaces (optional): Some spaces can have bonuses like +2 moves, mini-challenges, or double points.

Player starting points: Mark the start and finish spaces clearly.

Stap 2

Door / Double-Sided Card Board

Create the cards: Use cardboard or thick paper to make small rectangular cards.

Double-sided design:

• Side 1: Flag of a country
• Side 2: Object related to that country (animal, musical instrument, sport, or food)

Attach cards to board (optional):

• Use small pegs, Velcro, or pockets on a separate board so players can flip the cards or “open the doors.”
• Arrange them in a grid or along a path that corresponds to the main route.
