Een stap-voor-stap handleiding om het spel te spelen

Take two minutes to explore the panel with a group of 2-8 players.

Ask one of the players to select one of the personal hygiene items in the middle of the panel. Ask questions like:

Why is it important to use this item?
How do you use it?
Can you find it on the panel?
Can you find a situation in which a person should use it to improve the hygienic conditions of the situation?

After identifying a situation, always ask the player what the difference is with the situation on the other side of the panel. On the graphic on top, everything is very messy, whether on the graphic at the bottom, everything is sparkly clean. Start a group discussion to reflect about the differences.

Repeat this process and ask another player to pick an item from the middle of the panel.

The activity ends when all the items have been discussed.

Extra informatie over het spel

The personal hygiene panel contains two similar graphics. However, on the upper side of the panel, everything is dirty and very messy. On the lower part of the panel, the same situation is depicted with improved hygiene conditions. In the middle of the panel, different items linked to personal hygiene. The items from left to right:

Variaties

Drawing: Ask one of the players to draw an item depicted on the panel. Afterwards, ask him/her how to use this item and where to find it on the panel.
Storytelling: Ask the players to invent a story on how the people on the panel went from one situation to another. Encourage them to add many details to spice up the story!
Act out: Ask one of the players to act out a situation seen on the panel. The other players will guess which character was acted out. Discuss the situation.
Take some personal hygiene items with you and ask the participants to use the items in a correct way (f.ex. brush teeth, wash hands).
I spy ...: One player chooses an item on the panel without mentioning it to the others. Only mention the colour of the item. The other players try to guess the item. For example: I spy with my little eye .... something green!
Find the differences-competition: Divide the players in two teams. The first player of each team will complete a course you set out (e.g. run towards a chair, spin around the chair and run back towards the panel) and then find a difference between the situations depicted at the top and the bottom of the panel as quickly as possible. The quickest player scores a point for his team. Then, the second player of each team completes the course and appoints a difference, and so on. Continue until all the differences have been appointed. After the race, discuss the differences with the entire group.
