Fill the balloons
Fill the balloons with gold dust. Make sure there is one balloon for each player.

Inflate the balloons.

Tie the balloons
Attach a piece of rope to each balloon. Tie the balloons together and attach them to a chair, a blackboard, ...

Ask the children to line up, one behind the other. The first child in the row thinks of the hero he wants to be transformed into.

Pop a balloon with the toothpick, so the child is “bathing” in stardust. With the “power” of the stardust, the child is transformed into his beloved hero.

Then, the child describes his hero to the other children through pantomime. The other children need to find out which hero it is.

Whoever finds the hero can pop the next balloon and, on his turn, transforms into his hero, etc.

A fun activity and easy to set up. The "star dust" sparks the children's imagination, so it's a lovely extra touch! If you don't have any balloons or gold dust, you can also ask the children to step through an imaginary door or jump through a hoop to reach the world of their favourite superhero.
