Tout ce dont vous avez besoin pour jouer à ce jeu

  • 1 colour wheel (with different colours)
  • 1 category wheel (places, objects, patterns, etc.)
  • Paper and pens/pencils (optional, for drawing/writing)
  • Cardboard or thick paper
  • Split pins (paper fasteners) to make spinning wheels
  • Scissors
  • Optional: laminating sheets for durability

Create the Colour Wheel
  • Draw a circle on cardboard.
  • Divide it into equal sections (6–10 parts).
  • Fill each section with a different colour (e.g., red, blue, green, white, yellow).

Create the Category Wheel

Draw a second circle and divide it into sections.

Fill each section with a category, such as:

  • Nature
  • Objects
  • Places
  • Patterns
  • People
  • Food

Étape 3

Make them spin
  • Cut out both wheels.
  • Attach each wheel to a base using a split pin so it can spin.

Optional add-ons
  • Add icons or drawings for younger children.
  • Write colour names in multiple languages for learning.
  • Laminate the wheels for long-term use.

Un guide étape par étape pour jouer le jeu

1

Basic Version (Colour Only)

  1. Spin the colour wheel.
  2. Players must quickly: Find and touch something with that colour, OR point to something in the environment.
  3. First player/team to find a correct object scores 1 point.
  4. Repeat for several rounds.

Intermediate Version (Colour + Category)

  1. Spin both wheels.
  2. Players must find something that matches the colour AND the category (Example: “White + Nature” → a white flower, cloud, etc.)
  3. First correct answer earns 1 point.

Movement Game

Players run to find the object.


Drawing Game

One player draws something based on the colour. Others guess → correct guess = point.


Observation Game

One player looks at something silently. Others guess what they are looking at.


Team Game

Players work together to find items. Teams earn points collectively.


This game concept was developed during a StreetwiZe leadership expedition with Sanoma in a refugee center in Lanaken, Belgium.

Variations

Language Learning Version

  • Players must say the colour in another language before scoring.


Writing Version

  • Players write down the object instead of pointing to it.


Memory Challenge

  • Players must remember previously found objects (no repeats allowed).


Speed Round

  • Set a timer (e.g., 10 seconds to find something).


Creative Thinking Version

  • Players explain why their object fits (encourages reasoning).


No-Movement Version

  • Players stay seated and point or describe instead of running.


Cooperative Mode

  • Everyone works together to reach a shared score.
