A step-by-step guide to play the game

The players explore the panel and tell what they see. The intention is to fresh up their knowledge about the different characters (information about the characters: see Additional game info).

The players try to reconstruct the storyline of the five characters. If they don't know the original stories, they can use their own words and imagination.

After telling the stories, the players link each story with crucial elements of doing business (see Additional game info).

To conclude, the players take a look at the smaller BUSINESS D2 panel. Ask the players to explain the different collaborations between the main characters. After this, challenge the players to come up with new potential collaborations.

Extra game information

Information about the characters:

  • Whip (red): lives in a slum, has an idea to clean shoes in a muddy area, makes an agreement with a shoemaker, starts working
  • Singer (yellow): works in a carpet factory and feels bad, decides to leave the factory, is chased away by competition when trying to wash cars, finds own location and uses singing to attract customers.
  • Maria (green): washes clothing for an abusive boss, escapes by jumping on Speed's bike, looks for materials to make drums, sells drums in the market.
  • Speed (blue): steals fruit with a friend, friend steals Maria's bag, Speed returns stolen bag to Maria, becomes courier instead of stealing
  • Tree (pink): runs away from prostitutes, is scared by the police, makes a deal with fruit vendor to sell and split profit, sells fruit at a bus terminal.
