A step-by-step guide to play the game

Attach the Wheel of Food rotation disc panel to the board and make sure the two Food Bingo panels are on the opposite side of the mobile school.

Spin the Wheel of Food rotation disc and identify the food or beverage.

Both players or groups will now cover this specific item with a bottle cap on their magnetic boards. After having placed the bottle cap, you can ask several questions to both players or groups such as:

Do you like to eat/drink this?
When was the last time you had this?
Do you think it’s healthy?

The players can score a point if they are able to cover an entire row or column (5 bottle caps in a row). If a player has 5 bottle caps in a row, he/she needs to shout BINGO, which means a player has scored 1 point.

The first player to score 3 points is the winner of the Food Bingo game!

Extra game information

This game was invented by interns working with our StreetSmart Wheels partner Banco de Alimentos in Querétaro, Mexico. The game consists of two magnetic panels 59x59cm which are very similar. However, you’ll notice that the different foods are placed in different positions on both panels in order to be able to play the bingo game.
