Everything you need to play this game

  • A body outline poster or mat
  • Matching body part cards (2 cards per body part)
  • Function or association cards
  • Animal or contextual image cards (optional)
  • Score tracker (optional)

A step-by-step guide to play the game

1

Place all body-part cards face down in a grid, just like a traditional memory game. Position the body outline poster nearby.

2

Players take turns flipping two cards.

  • If the cards do not match, they are turned face down again and the next player takes a turn.
  • If the cards match, the player keeps the pair and continues to the next challenge.
3

For younger participants, the matching body part must be placed on the correct location of the body outline.

Example:

  • Lungs are placed in the chest area.
  • Hands are placed on the arms.
  • Eyes are placed on the face.

If correctly positioned, the player earns one point.

4

For older participants, each matched body part must be linked to its function or a healthy habit.

Examples:

  • Eyes → seeing danger or observing the environment.
  • Heart → exercise and sports help keep the heart healthy.
  • Ears → listening to sounds.

Players explain their association before placing the card.

5

If an association is incorrect, the facilitator may return the card to the game or ask the player to try again later. This encourages learning through discussion and exploration.

6

The game continues until all cards have been matched and placed. The player with the highest number of correct matches and associations becomes the Doctor of the Day.
