A step-by-step guide to play the game

All players form pairs, facing each other.

In each pair, the players will alternately count from 1 to 3.

E.g.: player A says "1", player B says "2", player A says "3", player B says "1", etc.

After a while, ask each pair to replace number 1 with a gesture accompanied by a sound of their choice (so each pair has a different gesture and sound). Every time number 1 comes up, instead of saying 1, the players will make that gesture and sound.

Once they get the hang of it, each pair will replace number 2 with a gesture and sound as well.

And, you've guessed it correctly!, once they get the hang of that as well, they will also replace number 3 with a gesture and a sound.

Extra game information

Variations

To make the game a bit easier, you can tell the players they can keep saying 1, 2, 3 while making the gesture.
To make the game more difficult, you can ask the pairs to count till 5 or more and keep adding gestures and sounds. A perfect way for all players to train their memory!
