  • Scissor
  • Cardboard
  • Ruler
  • Pencils in different colours
  • Screws

Make it yourself

Step 1

Take a large piece cardboard
  • Make square cuts in the large cardboard. Use a ruler to measure everything out.
  • F.ex.: 4 vertical and 4 horizontal
  • The cuts function as a maze.

Step 2

Now take a second piece of cardboard
  • Cut the cardboard in a square, a little bit bigger than the outside margin of your maze.
  • Draw images about recycling (f.ex. see image).
  • Around the large drawing, make a green coloured circle.

Step 3

Cut the second piece of cardboard
  • Cut the cardboard with the drawing in smaller squares (4x4 in case your maze is that size).
  • Leave one piece without a drawing on it, out.

Step 4

Attach screws
  • Now take screws and put them through each small square of your jigsaw.
  • Attach a bit of tape to make sure it sticks to the pieces.

Step 5

Attach the squares to your maze
  • Now put all the pieces of your jigsaw in your maze, except for one. This way you can scramble the pieces and move them through the square.
Good job!

Thanks for sharing this game, ... we've played it in Belgium and the kids loved it. I agree with Addy: the combination of skills is spot on.
