Start a conversation about the panel. Suggested questions:

  • What jobs do you see?
  • What appeals to you? Where do you see yourself in the future? What would you like to do?
  • What have you already done in the past?
  • Where are people collaborating? What advantages do they have?
  • What businesses or business concepts are missing?
  • Which business do you think makes the most money? Why?

The players continue drawing the scene around the panel and describe what they are drawing.

Extra game information

Overview panel that links together all elements of the Street Business Tool Kit. First, different business concepts are presented (e.g. supply chains, business interactions, attracting customers, understanding the market, …). In the center of the panel, you can see the main discussion board with different types of places and locations, e.g. a village, a market place, the street, a tourist area, … Several types of businesses are shown in a total of 68 different situations that can feed the discussion. On the left side of the panel there are four individual illustrations extracted from the main discussion board, which portrays an example of a possible market chain. On the right side of the panel there are seven individual illustrations extracted from the main discussion board, to use as a search-and-discuss game. Five of these drawings represent the five characters of the Speed's Choice story.

Variations

  • Roleplay: the first player chooses a character that is depicted on the panel and portrays the corresponding situation. Another player chooses a different character and goes into interaction with the first player. Continue with making a chain of roleplays.
  • The players look for the Speed's Choice characters and describe their role in the market and their collaborations. Suggested questions: Who else could they work with? How? Why?
  • Combine with the talent panel (BUSINESS C3). The players link work situations with what is depicted on the talent panel.
