Variaciones

  • Competition: This game can be played as an introduction to the activity with the Life Cycle game board or you can ask the players to first look at the game board and then play this game. Divide the players into different teams. The teams get 3 minutes to write down as many changes in the bodies of girls and boys throughout development as possible. When the time is up, go over all the changes that were written down. The team who wrote down the most correct answers wins. Reflect on the activity by asking questions such as: Does this change happen in the body of boys, girls or both? When do you think these changes happen? Do you already notice changes in your own body? Can you talk to someone about it? etc.
  • Quiz: Organise a quiz: ask questions related to the development of a boy and a girl. The player who answers correctly, gets a point.

Objetivos de aprendizaje específicos

  • Dare to talk about changes happening in your/other's bodies.
  • Learn to describe every life phase from baby to adulthood.
  • Learn to describe the differences between changes in a boy's and a girl's body.

I really like this game to talk about the development of children into adulthood. Also the drawings are really appealing.
